A narcocorrido circulating on social networks has caused a stir by mentioning businessman Manfred Mauricio Quintanilla Hernández, one of the owners of the transport company TUM. The song, whose content has been widely shared on platforms such as TikTok and YouTube, describes him as a “fugitive from justice” and a “friend of the Sinaloa Cartel and Governor Rocha Moya”.
The corrido also details alleged links to corruption, mentioning million-dollar contracts and connections to criminals. Although the veracity of the claims has not been confirmed, the song has generated debate and questions about the businessman.
Quintanilla, according to the narcocorrido, is wanted with an Interpol red notice in 200 countries, which increases the impact of these accusations in a context where networks quickly amplify any controversy.
